The Raptor Bike- 93 Suzuki GSXR1100

Dave bought this former Fastline Team Suzuki race bike in 1994.  He raced the bike for a few years after which it got retired for awhile.

It was already a nice looking machine with lots of goodies made for speed.

After we started MOTOCYCO Dave decided to customize the bike and turn it into a radical looking streetfighter.

Below is the Raptor bike pictured with Dave’s first proto-type wheelie bar.  Carved from phenolic it is an articulating bar to be used in drag-racing.  Dave has tested this piece on the drag strip and has since made a new bar out of laser cut aluminum pieces.

Decidedly the most interesting part of this bike is the headlight assembly which looks like a raptor.  This piece is hand-crafted by Dave in a long process of sculpting foam, fiberglass, and bondo.

The Tail Section and front fender were also made in this fashion.  We offer the Tail Section piece of body-work for sale in our online shop.

Sandra did the airbrushing paint work.

We added a lot of custom details to this motorcycle.   The blue part seen in the picture below is the custom linkage Dave created for hooking in the wheelie bar.

The carbon fiber pipe was cut down to a stub.  We then added some or our own details.

A clear acrylic Skull was used as a rear brake fluid reservoir.

Dave crafted these sliders from rods of acrylic.

Our billet brake fluid reservoir looks like a Grenade. We also made the grips out of the same material as the sliders.  Our signature bark buster look on the handle-bars.

The Dragon Bike: 03 Suzuki GSXR 1000

When Motocyco was conceived we owned five motorcycles.  One was a silver 2003 Suzuki GSXR 1000 Dave bought used.

It was for this bike Dave crafted the fiber-glass Tail Section which was our first product.  The original hand sculpted piece remains on the bike.

This bike evolved along with the business and features many of our products and one of a kind parts that Dave designed.

The airbrushing was done by Sandra.  It was her first attempt at using automotive paints.

The bike has been featured in several magazines in the U.S. and abroad.  It has won numerous trophies.

We still have the bike and Dave enjoys riding it.
